The framework for the Vendor Rating Programme was officially approved on 29th February 2024, and administrative approval followed on 16 March 2024. This initiative seeks to empower households to generate their own electricity by installing rooftop solar systems, thereby increasing the share of solar rooftop capacity in the country.
