The state government took steps to solarize 1,200 agricultural feeders with a solar capacity of 3,725 MW, ensuring daytime free power for nearly 20 lakh agricultural consumers. Plans are also underway to solarize all government buildings by December 2025. The initiative aims to provide 24×7 quality power to all sectors while promoting green energy and reducing costs.
