Pankaj Sharma, Additional Director-D&ES at the Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell (PPAC) of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, emphasized the growing significance of gas as a cleaner energy source. “Natural gas is poised for substantial growth in India’s energy sector and is increasingly seen as a more viable and preferable fuel option,” Sharma stated.
