NDMC has concluded initial arrangements with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to receive 200 MW of solar power over 25 years, and work is in progress on two more projects.

During its 183rd board meeting held on Wednesday, the LDA made it mandatory for all residential properties with a plot size of 1,000 square feet or more to install rooftop solar panels under the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
