The Adani Group, controlled by billionaire Gautam Adani, aims to generate 45 gigawatts (GW) of renewable power by 2030, with two-thirds of that being produced at its $18.01 billion Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat, bordering Pakistan.

"Profit after Tax ( consolidated net profit) increased by a robust 29 per cent YoY (year on year) to Rs 351 Crore," it stated.

"This will be India's first-ever green hydrogen plant for the float glass industry. The plant will have a capacity to generate up to 190 tonne green hydrogen per annum through the electrolysis process," it said.

The MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) shall explore joint development of grid-connected renewable energy-based power projects including solar, wind, energy storage etc. and/or solutions thereof, a company statement said.

Sanjeev Bhatia, CFO of BluPine Energy, said in the statement, "Securing the financial closure for our 120 MW Solar Project in Sadla, Gujarat is an important step for BluPine Energy which was made possible by the debt from HDFC Bank."

Ampin will use the funds to implement various projects under its special purpose vehicles, mainly in commercial and industrial (C&I) solar across sectors in India.

The initiative is driven by the need for resource adequacy, as outlined in the guidelines issued by the ministry of power and the central electricity authority, which mandate sufficient capacity to reliably serve expected consumer demand without resorting to load shedding.

The discussions, co-chaired by Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, India, and Michael Okyere-Baafi, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Ghana, emphasized enhancing bilateral cooperation in renewable energy alongside other sectors.

Energy Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin said the ban on ground-mounted panels on agricultural land would not stop the government installing some 38 GW through photovoltaic plants by that date.

The five projects will be set up on EPC mode in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. The company aims to complete the projects by July 2024, Hanish Gupta, Founder and CEO of Sunkind Energy, said.
