The report by the World Economic Forum, written in collaboration with Bain & Co, recommended five areas that can benefit from public-private interventions in expediting the adoption of green hydrogen in India.

The project, secured through the e-reverse auction mechanism at a walk-out tariff of INR 2.53 per kWh, is set to be completed within 24 months, marking Apraava’s first greenfield solar power project through auction.

The initiative is expected to contribute to an annual reduction of 2.5 million tonnes of carbon emissions in the North West, equivalent to removing 1.1 million cars from the roads.
