This week Australia announced a massive solar farm that it hopes will eventually offer two gigawatts (GW) of power to Singapore via undersea cable. Singapore aims to peak carbon emissions by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050, but it relies heavily on imported oil and gas.

This project enhances the company's energy solution offerings and supports its transition towards becoming an energy products and services company, it said.

"TPSSL announces its strategic collaboration with ICICI Bank to provide loans to finance the purchase of solar panels/ units for residential and corporate customers," the company said in a statement.

Power Grid Corp on Thursday said it has acquired 2 project special purpose vehicles from PFC Consulting Ltd. The two SPVs are Sirohi Transmission Ltd and Beawar-Mandsaur Transmission Ltd, a company statement said.
