The ₹75,000 crore rooftop solar scheme, approved by the Union Cabinet earlier this year, aims to benefit 10 million families across India. The scheme is designed to promote the installation of grid-connected rooftop solar systems with financial support from the Central Government.

The expo will feature participation from delegations representing several countries, including the USA, UK, UAE, and European Union. Discussions will cover key areas such as Green Hydrogen, innovative financing, and renewable energy manufacturing.

The facility, which is part of the UK's broader effort to achieve 10GW of low-carbon hydrogen production by 2030, is expected to be operational by 2028. The companies have already completed feasibility studies and are progressing with design and site investigation works.

The initiative seeks to address the FMCG sector’s challenge of sourcing high-quality recycled materials and aims to support India’s sustainability goals by diverting waste from landfills and promoting recycling at a large scale.

The company informed the exchange in a filing on Tuesday that JSW Neo Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy, has received a Letter of Award for 600 MW of Wind-Solar Hybrid Power project, including 400 MW allotted under the green shoe option from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company against MSEDCL-Phase IV.

The order entails the supply and installation of 1,00,000 solar street light systems for the Bihar State Government. This latest project adds to the 80,000 solar street light systems that ITI is already executing in the state for BREDA.

The facility utilizes advanced TOPCon and Mono Perc technology, allowing for high-efficiency production. Tata Power has invested ₹4,300 crore in this state-of-the-art facility, which will contribute to the company’s goal of expanding its renewable energy portfolio, particularly in solar rooftop and utility-scale segments.

The project, approved in principle by IREDA’s Board of Directors in July 2024, will harness Nepal’s hydropower potential while contributing to regional energy cooperation and sustainability.

The Holdco Notes, issued in September 2021 for a three-year term, supported AGEL's growth strategy, helping the company increase its capacity from 3.5 GW to 11.2 GW. AGEL registered a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 48 Percent during this period.
